3.5 into 0.06 mm and posteriorly end bluntly rounded
Larva
Spear tip anterior
80 to 120 mm in length
5.6 mm in width
Mature encysted larva
Have digestive tract similar to adult
Reproductive organs not fully developed
Life cycle of trichonella spiralis
Pigs contain encysted larva in their muscle.
Human cat dog eat this infected pig
Capsule of the eggs dissolved in the intestine and larva are liberated
Sexual reproduction occurs
Female borrows into the intestine villi
Viviparous female lays the eggs inside the mucosa into the blood stream
Eggs can only hatch in striated muscle fibre such as that of heart , brain and gluteus maximus

Diagnosis
-demonstration of larvae in muscle biopsy near tendon insertions in deltois
-Antibody detction
-Bachman intradermal test
Treatment for trchonella spiralis
mebendazole or abendazole
prenisone
