A

Wheel clamp.
Temporary appropriation.
Clamped wheel of victims car and demanded £40 to remove it. Both theft and extortion - he stole the car and was holding it to ransom. Was an illegitimate demand, meeting requirements of extortion.

Adcock v Archibald

A

Coal miner’s bonus.
Even small practical result will suffice.
Coal miner’s get paid by how much coal they mine. Accused swapped his name tag with another employee who had mined more coal. Although he didn’t receive the bonus, his achievement was noted and enough to constitute fraud (doesn’t have to be monetary)

Set paper on fire.
Leading case on wilful fire-raising.
Paper was set on fire which set building on fire. To be wilful FR, the act must be deliberate. If not it is culpable.
