What are Verbs
Verbs are action words in a sentence that describe what the subject is doing. One clue to help you recognise what a verb is it’s location and compared to the subject. Verbs almost always come after a noun or pronoun. These nouns and pronouns are referred to as the subject.
Example:
Mark eats his dinner quickly
They thought about all the prizes in the competition.
What is a noun
The simplest definition of a noun is a thing.
Example:
The boy and girl were holding hands as the crossed the bridge on the way to town.
Type of nouns
Abstract, collective, common, and concrete

Adjectives, Verbs, Nouns, Conjunctions, Pronouns, Adverb, Preposition, Commas
What are adjectives?
It is used to describe modify or describe nouns
What are adverbs?
It is used to modify or describe adjectives, verbs, or other adverbs
What are Conjunctions?
It connect clauses or sentences together.
What are prepositions?
It gives context to nouns in relationship to other nouns or to pronouns
What are pronouns?
It replaces nouns or noun phrases.
