It is used to tell HMRC about any benefits that the employee has received for example of company car health insurance or gym membership.

All the employees that have been paid that month & all the deductions that have been made
What may happen to employers that submit an FPS or an EPS late?
They may face a penalty which is based on the number employees and the amount due to HMRC

Something that tells HMRC about payments employers have made to employees and deductions that have been made

22nd of each month
When must an employee pay payroll taxes to HMRC if paying by post ?
19th of each month
