- when it started, was it acute/gradual, duration, progression, intermittent or continuous

the vomit
- how much, how often, consistency, colour and contents (mucus blood, bile if vomiting

A

GI
- weight loss: how much, intentional or not, appetite changes
work down the body: dysphagia, indigestion/heartburn. abdo pain, bowel habits changes, blood or mucus in the stools

Epigastric discomfort or pain
Nausea and vomiting
Dyspepsia
Bleeding causing haematemesis, “coffee ground” vomiting and melaena
Iron deficiency anaemia (due to constant bleeding)
