Auxiliary (Conjugation of Avoir/Être) + Past Participle
How to form the past participle
-ar = -é
-ir = -i
-re = -u
Which verbs use être instead of avoir
Devenir, Revenir, Venir (venir verbs)
Mourir, Naître (life verbs)
Montrer, Descendre, Tomber (changes in height)
Sortir, Partir, Arriver, Rentrer, Entrer, Retourner, Rester, Aller (movement relative to a location)

Think about the house.
Past Participle when using être
Masculine Singular = normal (allé)
Masculine Plural = add an “s” (allés)
Feminine Singular = add an “e” (allée)
Feminine Plural = add “es” (allées)
Same for -er and -ir verbs
Where does the “ne…pas” go for negative statements
“ne…pas” goes around the auxiliary (avoir/être)
