- it has no moving parts so it cannot be easily damaged
- it is removable and can be used to transfer data from one device to the next.

- micro SD cards, for smaller devices

a device that is multi-functional can do multiple things such as internet browse, play games, listen to music

- digital zoom doesn’t really zoom, it just crops the bit that is need and enlarges the image, this can affect image quality.
- Optical zoom moves the lens away from the sensor and closer to the subject, bringing the light from the subject closer.
