Q

What do you use perturbation methods for?

A

To find x when like its hard to
Assume x is power series in epsilon
Then you simplify using Taylor series

Q

Alternate way of writing Taylor series

A

f(x+Δx) = f(x) + f’(x)Δx + … + f^n(x)Δx^n/n!

Not quite sure about the last term but yes for the first two - hopefully you only need those
