A

12 O’clock Reports

A

Supervise the MOOW and make sure they write required information before reporting to the CDO to request permission to strike 8 bells at noon.

Security Cameras

A

Monitor security cameras and if anything goes wrong, send MOOW to investigate. Have MOOW tell CDO if anyone is entering unauthorized areas.

A

Use paper logs to record entry/exit of personnel. When power comes back on, continue using system to scan CAC cards.

Severe Thunderstorms

A

Notify CDO of any declared warnings, secure QD until further notice, ensure exterior doors and windows are closed, check for leaks, notify CDO of injury or property damage.

Tornado

A

Notify CDO of any declared warnings, secure QD until further notice, ensure all windows are open to prevent implosion, send MOOW to inform all hands to shelter in 1st deck p-way and basement away from any windows, notify CDO of injury or property damage.

Blizzard/Heavy Snow

A

Notify CDO of possibility of weather, ensure that personnel are informed of weather hazard, ensure all exterior doors/windows are closed, post snow watch to keep outdoor stairs and sidewalks free of snow, ensure all snow shovels and street brooms are staged and ready for use, when safe have snow watch start salting sidewalks and clearing away snow, notify CDO of injury or property damage.

A

Set by USNORTHCOM, in bravo right now because of ISIS.

A

Small and general terrorist threat that is not predictable, agencies will inform personnel of increased level.

A

No current terrorist activity, need enough security forces to stop average criminal.

A

Somewhat predictable terrorist threat, security measures may affect civilians and local law enforcement (must show 2 IDs to get on base).

Attack has occurred or attack is imminent, must show 2 IDs and traffic is restricted.

A

Terrorist attack has occurred or is taking place, bases restricted to only military personnel.

A

Good (time of day), navy center for service support detachment Fort Meade, Building 8479 quarterdeck. This is (rank/name) speaking. This is a non-secure line and subject to monitoring. How may I help you (sir or ma’am)?

Medical Emergencies
Contact CDO (or) dial 7-3911, account for all personnel until EMTs arrive, if need to evacuate arises, send MOOW to tell people to evac, tell emergency personnel of situation when they arrive.

Red Cross/Bereavement
If Red Cross: Notify CDO (or) write info on separate sheet of paper, log with time and person who call was concerning (rank and name). If family member: be sensitive and write info, offer help, tell them to contact Red Cross if they have not already done so, ensure them that service member will be notified, do not log names. DO NOT NOTIFY PERSON YOURSELF. Contact CDO to notify person.

Fire
Tell everyone to get out, muster spot is parking lot overlooking the smoke deck, gather up all log books in QD trashcan and phase card bin.

Flooding
Inform CDO and attempt to secure water flow, escort CDO to location of leak if you can not find source, MOOW might not be able to rove b/c of flood.

Bomb Threat
Alert CDO and have someone call Provost Marshall (301-677-6622) w/o caller knowing, evac building as quietly as possible, tell everyone not to touch any suspicious items but to let people know about them, keep caller on phone as long as possible and try to note everything about call (bomb threat sheet), do not hang up phone even if caller hangs up, leave phone off the hook until authorities arrive.
