A

uses: afib and HF pts (slows down heart allow ventricles to fill and increase contractility)

start low and increase slowly
narrow therapeutic range

HR less 60 hold med

Toxicity: green yellow halo, bradycardia, weakness–> vt or vf

normal dig level:
greater 2–> toxcitiy level
(hyperkalemia can slip symptoms

antidote= diga bind
