What is Pharmacist Support?
An independent, trusted charity, providing a wide variety of free and confidential support and wellbeing services to pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists, Foundation trainee pharmacists, and MPharm and OSPAP students.
Who does the charity support?
The charity supports people through a wide variety of challenges. From student financial struggles and exam anxiety, to practical support with managing debt, finances and employment issues and supporting those going through the GPhC fitness to practise proceedings. Pharmacist Support provides assistance to alleviate stress and pressure so you can focus on your pharmacy studies, trainee foundation placement or job, ensuring you don’t have to face challenging times alone.
The support available from the charity includes:
1) An information and enquiry service
2) Wardley Wellbeing Service
3) Counselling and Peer Support
4) Financial assistance
5) Specialist advice in the areas of debt, benefits and employment law
6) Addiction support programme (covering alcohol and drug dependencies, gambling and eating disorders).
