Q

What is urodilatin?

A

Similar to ANP produced in the kidneys in the renal distal tubules. Function to regulate sodium and volume. Urodilatin decreases the refining secretion from the macula dense and inhibits aldosterone release from the zone glomerulosa and ang II stimulated proximal tubular sodium and reabsorption
