If a pharmacist’s license lapses, what action can be taken to reinstate the license?
- Applicant must complete “Pharmacist Reinstatement” application and submit to the Board office
- If license has been expired >3 years, applicant must retake the MPJE. submit proof of CE completion during the expired period, and pay renewal and late fees.
- If license has been expired and applicant has not been practicing pharmacy in the past 5 years, the applicant must retake and pass the NAPLEX

Beginning July 1, 2017, all newly registered pharmacy technicians must have PTCB or ExCPT certification prior to their first renewal. Does not apply to technicians registered before July 1, 2017.
