A

can only be redispenced once, if they are non- controled, to someone else in the same licensed facility (hospital, hospice, assited living) and expire in more than 6 months from redespence date.

A

must be in sealed containers, recieving patients have to meet requirements, pharmacies can not recharge for the medication.

A

Prescription Drug Monitoring programs-PDMP
tracks controlled substances use and prescribing
Used as a tool to monitor doctor shopping
Includes rx date, pateint and prescriber names, method of payment, where they got it.
