1) Side effects : throbbing headache, flushed, dizziness, and burning under the tongue 2) marked hypotension, particularly orthostatic (sitting upright) 3) use your nitro not patients 4) Use caution with patient not previously receiving nitro 5) Generalized vasodilation may cause profound hypotension and reflex tachycardia 6) tabs loose potency easily, nitro spray doesn't have this problem 7) Use only with medical control on patients with systolic BP below 100 mm Hg
