Heck’s disease

Caused by HPV 13 or 32

Focal epithelial hyperplasia with exophytic lesion and dysplasia. Classically occurs in the lips and proximal gingiva, but may occur anywhere in the oropharynx.

Will be negative for “high risk” and “low risk” HPV, since these groups do not typically include HPV13 or 32.
