Q

What is validity?

A

an argument is valid if and only if it is not possible for the premises to be true and the conclusion false.
That means if the premises are true, then the conclusion has to be true.

What is a thought experiment?

A

tweak their conditions like variables and see whether our intuitions change or remain the same.
The Experience machine is a very famous thought experiment.
