Equations
Force = mass x acceleration
weight = mass x gravitational Field Strength
speed = distance/time
Voltage = current x resistance
What is a Force?
A force is an action which causes acceleration, deceleration or change is shape or size. The unit for measuring Force is Newtons N. And force is represented as a F.
Types Of Forces
Weight = A force which is due to gravity. A force which is due to the source of the gravitational field. On earth that points downwards
Tension = A force that acts in the direction of a rope or similar objects like a wire.
Friction = A force which happens in the opposite direction of motion when two surfaces are moving and in contact.
Air Resistance = A force which happens in the opposite direction of motion in the air.
Normal Contact Force = A force that acts perpendicular to a surface on an object which is pushing against the object.
