A
- The Flat Earth - This idea was originally believed by People in China and India and believed it was supported by 12 pillars
- The Sun being swallowed - People in Thailand believed that a solar eclipse occurred when a God called Rahu swallowed the Sun
- The Wood Turtle - In India people believed that the Earth was supported on the back of a giant wooden turtle

The Geocentric Model had the Earth as its centre with all the planets orbiting it. It included the sun, stars and planets.

The Heliocentric Model had the Sun as its centre with all the planets orbiting it. It included the Earth, starts and planets. Additionally it includes separate moons orbiting around specific planets e.g. Earth, Jupiter…

- Galileo saw that Jupiter had its Moons
- He also saw that Jupiter went through phases like our Moon
- Planets appeared to move backwards (retrograde motion)
