What is the CV risk for blood pressure?
Hypertension (130 or over systolic) (80 or over diastolic)
What age is CV risk for both genders?
45 or older for men, 55 or older for women
How recent is a cigarette smoker at CV risk?
Currently smoking or quit within last 6 months
What type of people with physical inactivity are at CV risk?
Not meeting threshold of 500-1000 MET-min of moderate to vigorous intensity or 75-150 minutes per week of moderate to vigorous intensity
What BMI/circumference is at CV risk?
30 kg/m^2 or greater or waist girth of 102 cm in men and 88 cm in women
When are lipids a CV risk?
When LDL is 130 or greater or HDL is less than 40 in men and less than 50 in women
When is blood glucose a CV risk?
When plasma glucose is 100 or over
What are some CV, Metabolic, or Renal disease signs/symptoms?
Ankle edema, palpitations/tachycardia, intermittent claudication (pain in lower extremities due to poor blood supply brought on by exercise), known heart murmur, unusual fatigue/dyspnea with usual activities
