Sedimentary rocks are formed from the weathering of other rocks they are usually soft and sometimes contain fossils
Examples are sandstone and chalk
Explain how metamorphic rocks are formed and their main features
Metamorphic rocks are formed from other rocks that have been changed by heat and pressure they are sometimes hard and contain tiny crystals
