Diatoms-Silicon shells, domoic acid, cant move

Dinoflagullates- two flagella, Cellulose shells, cuase red tide

Coccolithophores- Calcium carbonate shells, small, found in tropics

Ctenophores- 8 rows of sila , feedings (enghers vs trappers)

Cnidarians- radically symmetrical, Polyp and medusa, Cnidocytes with nematocysts

Annelids-Segmented worms, most are meroplantonic and polyctest

Copepods- EXTREMLY ABUNDENT, primary producers, arthropods

Ostracods- small and biolumincent

Decapods- meroplanktion, crabs

Chaetognaths- predatory worms

Salps- tropical syphon feedres

Larvaceans- tadpol like tunakits
