Why are plastics used in schools
Range of colours
Easy to form and reshape as both thermoplastics
They can be easily cut using a coping saw
They can be finished to a high standard (they can be polished to make them really shiny)

Mark on plastic with steel ruler and pen
Second step
When we cut plastic into desired shape we use a coping saw This is used to make cut curves in thin pieces of plastics

We use wet and dry paper which is like sand paper and it takes away any saw marks
