What are thermoplastics
A
They are plastics that can be bent and remoulded when heated

Give examples of thermoplastics
A
Perspex- cheap safe colour transparent durable, Polythene-excellent moulding used for toys, buckets, bowls tough and flexible, PVC- tough used in wires, pipes

What are thermosetting plastics
A
Plastics which cannot be reshaped after the first time

What are a few examples of thermosetting plastics
A
Adhesives (glues)- used to bond woods, metals and plastic, cannot be reshaped after hardening Polyurethane-forms the basis of paints and varnishes, water resistance and tough Polyester Resins-if combined with fibre you get a tough glass material
