  • if Open - place Trip Cock switch to raised position and operate on secondary circuit and press Auto-Vigilance Bypass button as required

What do you do if Trip fails to Reset?

A

Ensure no other fault lights illuminated (if they are act accordingly)

Track Access

Modified Cab unattended

Manually Reset Trip - hit button with stick
- if sets continue normal operation

  • if not set check Trip Cock IC in Aux. Pneumatic panel
    • If closed, open it and attempt to reset
    • If open place Trip switch to raised position, operate one secondary circuit and press Auto vigilance Bypass button as required

A

Operate whistle lever several times

Inspect both Low and High Tone ICs in A side equipment cabinet

If isolated place to normal

If normal
- Track access
- modified cab unattended
- inspect whistle IC in Aux. Pneumatic Panel

If not rectified run as per requirements for failed whistle

A

Re-release doors for passengers

Travel at Reduced speed Cautiously

Do not exceed 15kmh through yards, stations or near track workers

Flash high beams when approaching LVLX or any employees

What do you do if you get a ‘1 Or More Bogie Isolated’ Fault Light?

A

check LED indicators on each car

Check Bogie ICs in normal position

If Bogie is isolated ascertain whether a defect has been booked with TC - if not reinstate bogie

If Bogie normal submit TMM for defective sensor

What are operating restrictions for running with up to two isolated bogies?

A

Reduce speed by 10kmh for any speed over 60kmh
