All in
A player who has no funds remaining on the table to continue participating in the round, but who still wants to contend for a portion of the pot
Ante
A predetermined wager in which each player is required to make
Bet
An action in which a player places, gaming chips into the pot on any betting round
Betting round
A complete wagering cycle and a hand of poker, after all players have called or folded
Blind bet
A mandatory wager and some poker games which only players sitting in Pacific betting positions at a poker table shall be required to place prior to looking at any cards
Burn card
A card taken from the top of a deck, which is discarded face down, which is not I play and the identity remains unknown.
Buttons
An object that moves around the table that denotes that imaginary dealer
Call
A wager made in an amount equal to the immediate preceding wager
Capped
The last raise from that betting round
Check
A player waves the right to initiate the bedding and abetting round, but retains the right to ask for another player initiates the betting
Common card
Any game of stud poker, a card that is dealt face up if there is insufficient cards, left all remaining players to receive a down card
Community cards
Cards with her adult face upward, and which can be used by all players to form their best hand
Cover cards
A yellow or red plastic hard use during the cut process, and then to conceal the bottom of the deck
Draw
In a game of draw poker, and exchange by a player of cards held in his or her hand, after the initial bedding round, or an equal number of new cards from the deck
Dead hand
A players cards, no longer have action in that hand
Flop
The first three community cards dealt and hold them and Omaha
Forced bet
A wager which is required to start the wagering on the first betting round
Fouled hand
A hand that either has an improper number of cards, or has come in contact with other cards, in such a way as to venture them impossible to determine accurately which cards are contained in the hand
High
A game of poker, in which only the highest hand wins the pot
Hi - low split eight or better
A version of high low split poker in which a winning hand must satisfy an eligibility requirement
High-low split
A form of poker in which there is a winner for both the highest and lowest ranking hands
Hold cards
Any cards dealt to a player face down
Inside straight
A card you will need to make a street other than the first or last card inside the straight
Kicker
The last card used to determine the winner of the pot
