What is the definition of ‘Theft’ including the five elements.
Someone that ‘Dishonestly’ ‘Appropriates’ ‘Property’ ‘Belonging to Another’, With the ‘Intention of Depriving’ the other of it.
Define the two latin elements that coincide to define a criminal act?
Mens Rea - The mental intent to commit a crime
Actus Rea - The act of committing a crime

- Treating the thing has his own to dispose of - Borrowing or lending over an extended timescale - Damaging the functionality or condition of the property

What does the 2002 Police and Reform act entail?
Someone behaving in an anti-social manner may have to give their name and address to a constable in uniform and failure to do so is an offence.
What is the purpose of a public spaces protection order
They intend to deal with particular nuisances or problems in specific areas that are detrimental to the local communities’ quality of life by imposing conditions on the use of that area which applies to everyone.

The chief constable must be consulted and the local authority issues the order

Section 35 is used to disperse individuals causing or likely to cause anti-social behavior. An Inspector or higher needs to authorise a section 35 under the reasonable grounds that it will remove or reduce members of the public within the locality being harassed, alarmed, or distressed or reduce the occurrence of crime and disorder.
What is a CPN and how old do you have to be to be given one?
A community protection notice aims to deal with particular or ongoing problems within a community by targeting the person specifically. The person must be aged 16 or over.
What is a closure notice and order? and who needs to authorise one?
The power to close premises where it is reasonably believed that there is likely to be a nuisance to members of the public. An inspector or higher shall authorise on.
