What is underpopulation?
Under-population is when a region or country has insufficient workers to exploit their resources efficiently, to support retired populations and provide growth
What is overpopulation?
Overpopulation is when there are too many people, to be supported to a good standard of living, by the resources of a region or country.
What is population decline?
Population decline is when there are not enough children being born each year to replace those dying.
What is net migration?
The number of people moving into a country minus the number of people moving out of that country.
What is emigration?
The number of people moving out of a country.
What is immigration?
The number of people moving into a country
What is an age-sex pyramid?
It is a graph that allows us to see the gender and age structure of a population.
