4) religion
5) status of women

GDP
gross domestic product - amount of money a country has usually per capital
Life expectancy
The average period that a person may expect to live from birth, with the countries demographics stay the same
Natural Increase
Calculated by subtracting the crude death rate from the crude birth rate. It is expressed as a %.
Doubling Time
Is the number of years needed for a population to double in size. It is found by dividing 70 years by the rate of natural increase (in %). It is expressed in years.
Population Momentum
Is the tendency for a population to grow despite a fall in birth rate or fertility levels. It occurs because of a relatively high number of people at child-bearing age. When these people have children the greater number of births will exceed the number of deaths, and so the population will continue to grow.
Population Projections
Are predictions about future population based on trends in fertility, mortality and migration.
Population structure or composition
Refers to any measurable characteristic of a population. This includes the age, sex, ethnicity, language, religion and occupation of the population.
The dependency ratio

Population under 15 + Population over 64 (Dependents) /
Population aged 16–64 (the economically active) x 100
