Why is population Increasing (2)

A

More people are born than people are dying. This is partly due to the fact we are now living longer and also birth deaths are much lower due to technology

Population Structure (5)

A

The population structure is the amount of people at certain ages. There are three main groups-Young dependents (0-15), Economically active (16-65) and Elderly dependents (65+). LIC’s tend to have more of the first since more babies and born and there is a generally a lower life expectancy.
