1) Drop Ruler between finger and thumb
2) Measure distance fallen before caught repeat and calculate mean

Independent Variable:
Stimulant (energy drink) increases neurotransmission

Depressant (alcohol) decreases neurotransmission, increasing reaction time

1) Place Quadrat on ground at random gen

2) Count individual number of plants of one species in quadrat

3) Repeat this process a number of times and work out mean number of plants

4) Work out mean number plants in 1m2

5) Measure area of whole habitat + multiply No. of plants in 1m2 by whole area

Sampling (plants spread)

Answer 3

1) Stretch long tape across area

2) Placd quadrant down at regular intervals along the line

3) Count the plants in quadrant each time
