4.) fixed, dilated pupils
5.) non-traumatic = asystole in at least (2) leads OR “no shock advised”

1.) dependent lividity
2.) rigor mortis

Any obvious signs:

1.) body decomposition
2.) decapitation
3.) transaction of thorax
4.) incineration
5.) telemetry for other traumatic injuries suspected to be incompatible with life

Question 4

Steps after determine pt expired

Answer 4

1.) notify appropriate authority
2.) do not leave body unattended. A responsible person must be present
3.) DO MOT remove any property from body or scene
4.) NEVER transport/move body without permission from coroners office except for assessment or protection
