How do parents contribute (as context influences) in achievement motivation?

A

ERIKSON’S STAGES
1. If a parent works too much –> not around enough –> won’t know that there are skills that their kid could excel in
2. Parents with a fixed mindset influence kids to have a fixed mindset –> can’t improve
3. Parents who foster the idea of change –> have kids with a growth mindset

Finance - able to offer more opportunities and resources (private school, tutors, extra time)
