Chondrosarcoma
malignant tumor of cartilage cells
Symptoms of Chondrosarcoma
Tenderness over the site of the bone tumor
Dull pain from the area
Increase in severity of pain indicative of rapidly growing lesion
Neurological issues may be present with vertebral lesions
Muscular atrophy; decreased ROM
Chordoma
rare primary bone tumor caused from remains of notochord
malignant
Symptoms of Chordoma
Pain, paresthesia, motor changes can occur but rare
Giant Cell Tumor
rare, expansile osteolytic tumor made up of many giant cells. benign, but locally aggressive, seen at end of long bones
Symptoms of GCT
Clinically silent, once large in size pain in area of tumor. REG FLAGS: burning, pain at night, radiating pain, change in bowels
Osteosarcoma

Pain in bone that may come and go, may be worse at night
Pain increases with activity, may cause limp
Swelling in affected limb
Aneurysmal Bone Cyst

Symptoms of Osteoid Osteoma
Dull achy pain, moderate night pain inflammation swollen/painful soft tissue surrounding tumor lump pain relieved with ibuprofen
Endrochondroma Protuberans
benign cartilage tumor that appears inside of the bone
Symptoms endrochondroma protuberans
no symptoms, may report pain around site of tumor, enlargement of affected finger/toe, slow bone growth in affected area
