When do you do a direct pulp cap? Process?

A
  • Pinpoint pulp exposure, absence of pain.

- MTA or Calcium Hydroxide

When do you do a pulpotomy? Process?

A

Carous pulp exposure.

  • Remove pulp in chamber.
  • Achieve hemostasis with ferric sulfate.
  • Zinc oxide powder in Eugenol liquid and fill half of the pulp chamber.
  • Cement SSC with glass ionomer cement.

When do you do a pulpectomy? Process?

A

Congenitally missing permanant tooth and primary tooth saved to serve as space maintainer.

  • Root canals debrided and shaped.
  • Canals irrigated with disinfectant.
  • Canals dried
  • Fanals filled with resorbable material like ZOE.
