Delayed entry used when time is available. Using maximum amounts of cover and concealment to clear room from the outside

What is deliberate clearing
No short cuts, searching every room and clearing all danger areas
What is emergency clearing
Allows for shortcuts to move more quickly to address the threat

3 primary considerations of Proper Mindset
- Never cutting corners
- Prepared to employ lethal force without hesitation
- Never quitting
Primary consideration of Situational Awareness
1.Leading cause of death or injury in combat
2. Awareness of the mission and the seriousness of the operation
Considerations of Skill Proficiency
- Skills should be simple, effective, and realistic to the mission being performed.
Considerations of Physical Fitness
- Becoming physically tired increases mental strain.
- Focus should be on becoming more functionally fit to match the anticipated efforts that need to be given.
Consideration of surpise
- Rapid execution, deception, and shock
- Instills maximum fear and confusion
Considerations of speed
- Capture and maintain the initiative
- Quickly but controlled, only as fast as you can accurately engage.
