Balance (3 types)

A

Symmetrical/formal balance: when the elements of a picture are arranged equally on each side of the central axis

Asymmetrical/informal balance: when the weight of a composition is not evenly distributed around the central axis

Radical balance: similar to symmetrical balance but the elements are arranged around a central point
