Specific, progression, overload, reversibility, tedium
Advantages of circuit training
Adapt circuit based on individual, focus on multiple things, progressive overload is easy
Advantages of continuous training
Do it anywhere, develop aerobic fitness/cardiovascular endurance, running is not a difficult skill
What is plyometric training and what does it involve?
The use of body weight and gravity to work the muscles. It involves bonding, hopping or jumping
What is weight training
Involves the use of free weights and resistance machines to improve strength and muscular endurance
Disadvantages of weight training
Cause injury, can increase blood pressure, needs motivation
