product is easier to produce and sell at a profit.

-Design for waste minimisation: Products that use a lot of energy and other resources in manufacturing should be designed to be more durable, Products could be designed to be smaller and lighter. To help to save the amount of material used in production. Not design single use products.

-Design for re-use: Resources can be saved fi products are designed so that they can be re-used. Ex, packaging.
