Q

RNA Polymerase

A

Enzyme that binds to a reigon of a gene. It signals the DNA to unwind so it can read the bases in one of the strands.

Q

Translation

A

2nd part of the central dogma of molecular biology. AFter MRNA leaves the Nucleus it goes to the ribosome. The ribosome reads the sequence of codons in mRNA and molecules of tRNA bring amino acids to the ribosome in the correct sequence

Q

tRNA

A

Has an anticodon for each amino acid it produces. Anticodons are complimentary to codons. Doesnt have Thymine, Instead replaces it with Uracil.
