3 assumptions and why

2) no air resistance as a result

Would breakdown for a parachute as air resistance as a considerable role to play
How to find the time of flight if it doesn’t start on origin so say 10m up?
1) first way is to find time it takes to top, double and now you have time it takes to retune back to displamcent y it was.
- now find how long it will take to go down and add, use same velocity starting for y
2) but easier ine calcuktion way is to find the displacement y it will end up in, and take up to be positive like normal You’ll see quadratic and it should work
Best angle for best range?

What’s advantage of throwing something lower that will travel same distance / higher
Lower will be faster due to cos theta, so arrives quicker, but higher is slower and easier to catch
