Word order in dependent clauses: conjugated verb goes at end of sentence. If it is a separable-prefix verb, prefix stays on conjugated verb.

"Rolf is going home because he is tired"

"Rolf ist immer müde, wenn er früh aufsteht."
"Rolf is always tired when he gets up early."

If there are two verbs in a dependent clause, such as a modal verb and an infinitve, the modal verb comes last, following the infinitive.

ex. "Er ist müde, wenn er früh aufstehen muss."
