Typically on lower limbs
Initially small red papule
Later deep, red necrotic ulcers
May be accompanied by systemic symptoms such as fever and myalgia

50% are idiopathic
IBD
RA, SLE
Myeloproliferative disorders (diseases of the bone marrow and blood)
Lymphoma, myeloid leukaemias
Monoclonal gammopathy (IgA)
Primary biliary cirrhosis
