ACBCs
Antecedents: proximal and distal triggers
Consequences: to triggers (thoughts and physical sensations)
Behavior: as a result of the above. Typically escape or avoidance
Consequences: to behavior including thoughts and physical sensations. Typically reduces fear and anxiety

A
  • explain rationale and psycho education for buy-in and willingness to share experience
  • actual, recent episodes for accuracy in details because easier to remember
  • keep conceptualization and treatment planning in mind
