- Structured questionnaires produce quantitative data so easy to identify relationships between two variables

- Low response rate impacts validity & representivness
- Detachment: can feel impersonal reducing validity of responses ( interpretivist perspectives)
- Structured questionnaires lack validity as they don’t capture full detailed opinions
- Right answerism: giving researcher answer they think they want
