List your responsibilities upon duty in the morning

A

Be at their riding position for the shift at 0800 hours, in uniform, with every piece of PPE.
Check apparatus, PPE, SCBA before any other tasks.
Update the daily station manning board every morning.
Responsible for the station flag.
Ensure their apparatus is washed and clean each morning, regardless of weather.
If time allows and any other chief vehicle is at your quarters, the probationary firefighter should offer to fuel and clean the chief’s vehicle.

List the units dispatched on a residential box alarm and the general duties of each
1st Engine: Water supple, Size-up & 360, Stretch attack line to fire floor. 2nd Engine: Pump hydrant for 1st engine. FAST company, Assist with flaking and moving hose line. assist with ground ladders, horizontal ventilation, utility control and protect the point of egress. 3rd Engine: Strech back-up line from 1st engine to location of 1st engine. 4th Engine: Stage at 2nd water supply. Cover Charlie side, strech attack line to floor above, 2 horizontal exposures, 3 stand-by with line until directed. 5th Engine: Position on 4th due engine's hydrant to pump. Crew will report to incident & meet FAST to form the RIT group. 1st Due Special Service: Position Alpha side, inside team: report to fire floor, Force entry, locate seat of fire, conduct search operations, check extension. Outside team: Rescue / VES, Ventilation, Egress, Utilities. 2nd Due Special Service: Position to cover Charlie side. Same as the 1st due just opposite side. 1st Chief Officer: Establish Command. 2nd Chief Officer: Report to command in full PPE/SCBA prepared to assume division/group assignment.

List the units dispatched on a rescue (pin-in) alarm and the general duties of each
1st Engine: Size-up, triage, patient care, establish safe zone, matain patient care. 2nd Engine: Safety command, officer assume safety until relieved, deploy a protection line, mantain control & conduct regular size-up of area. Ladder Company: Inside team - stabilization, lockout/tagout, Outside team - serves as logistics and is responsible for assembling equipment needed. Rescue Company: Officer conducts inner and outer circle assessment, formulates and supervises rescue plan (OIC is rescue group leader until relieved) Chief Officers: First arriving chief assumes command, later arriving chiefs serves as Rescue group supervisor, command aide and safety officer. Additional Responding Units: Lever 1 staging until on assignment is provided.
