Diagnostic criteria of systemic exertion, intolerance disease (SEID)
Also myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome.
Requires the presence of fatigue of at least 6 months duration with Substantial reduction in pre-illness activities, postexertional malaise, unrefreshing sleep, and either cognitive impairment or orthostatic intolerance.
Management of SEID
Supportive, no pharmacologic therapies.
Pacing strategies, in which specific limits are placed on the degree of exertion, are used to reduce the frequency of postexertional malaise .
Trigger for SEID
Prodromal event of infection, comorbid conditions, including fibromyalgia, mood disturbances, IBS, interstitial cystitis.
Management of acute back pain (<4 weeks) without neurologic or systemic findings
Initial: non-pharmacologic treatments, including local heat, massage and acupuncture. Spinal manipulation therapy.
The pharmacologic:
1st line: NSAID
2nd line: tramadol or duloxetine
3rd line: Oxycodone
Posterior hip pain with positive result on FADIR
Hip osteoarthritis
Interior hip pain with positive result on FADIR
Acetabular labrum injury (labrum tear),
Possibly in young person with painful clicking or catching
Gradual onset of anterior hip pain in the presence of alcohol abuse, glucocorticoid ideas, SLE or sickle cell anemia
Avascular necrosis
Hip pain, radiating down the leg
Sciatic nerve irritation

Sacroiliac joint dysfunction
