He began by tearing up traps and setting flocks free

The difference in creation myths show that there are different cultures and societies within Mesopotamia that have different beliefs of how he world originated.
2 similarities between Ennuma Elish and Genesis
- Both imply primeval chaos in the beginning as marked by darkness and emptiness of the abyss (world started with nothing)
- Both create mankind, namely after all else was created.
2 differences between Ennuma Elish and Genesis
- In Ennuma Elish, the world is made from violence of killing Tiamat where as in Gensis, the world is made from his love and out of thin air.
- EE: man created to do work of gods, Gensis: rule over creation
