What does lucy discover in the wardrobe?
she first sees a normal wardrobe however as she gets further in she starts to feel snow and suddenly she is in the woods of a completely different place.
what happens when she goes to Mr. Tumnus’s house?
What happened was that Mr. Tumnus offered to go to his house for as warm fire and a feast, when they arrive there, he gives her cake and toast and sardines and there is a warm fire. After they were done eating, he sang her a song.He later confesses that he was supposed to kidnap her and bring her to the white witch.
where has lucy travelled to in the wardrobe?
She finds a land called Narnia
what is the problem in Narnia and who is responsible for it?
The problem in Narnia was that the white which had Narnia under her thumb and cursed it so that it was winter forever and never summer.
does mr tumnus’s behaviour change after lucy spends time with him?
yes, at first he didn’t know what humans are like but after having a fun time with lucy he realized that humans are really nice and he decided to let her go back to her world instead of kidnapping her and giving her to the white witch.
do you think Mr. Tumnus is a bad faun? Why or why not?
Not at all, he was forced by the white witch to do bad things and it was not his intention at all. He was very nice and caring towards Lucy and was very empathetic when she said she wanted to go back.
What happend at the end of the chapter?
At the end of the chapter Lucy goes back to the wardrobe and returns to her house where she meets her siblings again.

a man with a goats ear, legs and tail.

feeling or showing great pleasure.

a feeling of sadness usually without an obvious reason.
what does jollification mean?
having a good time and celebrating with joy and excitement.
what does sorrowfully mean?
full of sadness
Why was Lucy surprised that her siblings hadn’t been wondering where she was?
Because she had thought that it had been a really long time since she took a long time in Narnia while she was lost and when she met Mr. Tumnus and ate in his place and took hours while he was playing the song for him.
What did they find when they investigated the wardrobe?
They didn’t find anything inside other than a perfectly fine wardrobe when they investigated it.
Why didn’t Lucy make up with the others by saying she had just made up the story of her adventure?
She didn’t make up with the others because she knew that she was telling the truth and refused to confess that she was making it up.
Why should the next few days have been delightful, and why did Lucy not enjoy them?
The next few days should have been delightful since the weather was nice and they did many fun activities outdoors and they were outside all day long but she didn’t enjoy them because all of her siblings didn’t believe her, accused her of lying and being untruthful and also teased her which made her feel unhappy.
why did she not mean to hide in the wardrobe during hide-and-seek?
She didn’t mean to hide in the wardrobe because she thought her siblings would criticize her about the whole issue again.
Why did Edmund follow her into the wardrobe?
Edmund followed her into the wardrobe because he wanted to make fun of her and tease her of her lies.
what was his first clue that something unusual was happening?
He tried to open the door and couldn’t find it. After that he tried shouting to lucy but realized he wasn’t in the closet anymore but in the outdoors.
