Radar Flashcards

1
Q

Do the personalization records ever get deleted when user make changes?

A

personalization records are not actually deleted only deactivated. If the user creates another personalization off the same source dashboard, the
record will be re-used with the new settings. This is done to minimize the number of records being created.

What are the three sources available for first column (i.e. row) names and values in table components?

A

Category values, Record names, and User-defined list

33

In the threshold tooltips. This is explained in the tooltip or help text for the field.

41
Q

If you include reports on the Links & Reports form, where would they be displayed?

A

When the resource is expanded on the component

42
Q

Are you limited in the specific reports you are able to add? Do they need to be CPOE reports?

A

No, the reports listed are not limited.

43
Q

Are there any external benchmarks currently configured for this record?

A

Q

c. IDK (resource)
d. IDB (Radar component

A

a. CSF (data storage)
b. IDN (benchmark definition or metric)
c. IDK (resource)

50
Q

What are three different ways you can allow access to a dashboard?

A

Through a User Role specified in the Dashboard Editor, by use of the Dashboard Redirector, or by listing a Dashboard directly in a User Record or linked template.

51
Q

What is a default dashboard? Where can it be set?

A

A default dashboard is a user’s most accessible dashboard. It can be set by the user (with the proper security) in the Dashboard Launcher or by an administrator directly in the user’s record.

52
Q

What options do security point 6, May Modify Component List, allow?

A

Security point 6 allows adding, removing, and rearranging components in a user’s personalized dashboard.

53
Q

Assume a component has the Allow users to add this component check box selected. What additional setup needs to be in place before a user can add this component to their dashboard through personalization?

A

The user’s security class requires points 5 and 6; the dashboard must allow modifying the component list; the dashboard must allow adding components with no report groups or the dashboard report group(s) must match the component report group(s) and the user’s report group(s)

54
Q

Who can broadcast a message and what security point do they need?

A

Only Radar administrators or users with proper security (security point 10 in the
Radar security class) are able to broadcast messages.

55
Q

Which 2 ways can a user subscribe to a report?

A

aside from making reports more accessible, link components can push out reports to end users. When a user launches a dashboard that contains Epic-
Crystal and Epic-WebI report links, they are automatically subscribed to
the reports to which they have access.

This is the second of two ways users can subscribe to these reports, the first being by adding that report to their My Favorite Reports section in My Reports.

56
Q

Where do the reports listed in a report listing component come from?

A

The reports included in a report listing component may come from one of two places, depending on the Data Source you select:

• My Reports – the main report authoring and distribution activity in
Reporting Workbench

• Report Tags – similar to ‘keywords’ that are associated with reports

57
Q

Could auto subscribing to a report affect reporting performance?

A

YES. If you check any of the boxes which Auto-subscribe you to reports, be aware that even if your tags return many reports you will be auto-
subscribed to all of them. This could affect reporting performance, therefore auto-subscribe should be used with caution.

58
Q

before you can create a graph component based on report data, your source Reporting Workbench report must be configured to display what?

A

before you can create a graph component based on report data, your source Reporting Workbench report must be configured to display
summary information.

59
Q

Where is a graph component created?

A

A graph component is created in the Component Editor

60
Q

What are the three tabs necessary for basic table component?

A

three tabs necessary for a basic table component; the General Settings tab, the Columns tab, and the Thresholds tab.

61
Q

Does the rows tab control what rows are present in your table?

A

The Rows tab does not control what rows are present in your table – that is controlled by the data that is returned by your Reporting Workbench report
or code template.

62
Q

What are the 4 masterfiles that create the core of the metric framework?

A

The Core of the Metric Framework revolves around 4 master files:

  1. CSF - Stores the actual data for the metric
  2. IDN - Stores the definitions of the metric
  3. IDK - Stores settings related to how the data will be displayed in Radar
  4. IDB – Radar component record, pulls together Resource records that are to be displayed together on a component
63
Q

What are the three ways to allow access to a dashboard?

A

user role, dashboard redirector, individual user records or templates

64
Q

If you click refresh on a graph or table component will the report re run?

A

NO. You will have to wait until the report reaches its Reporting Workbench “valid until” time to re-run the report

65
Q

Name the six sections that the dashboard editor consists of

A

Basic Information, Layout, Content, Parameters, User options, access
